D. candidate at UBC's Department of Educational Studies and currently writing her dissertation \"Gathering Knowledge: Visual Storytellers \u0026amp; Indigenous Storywork.\" Publications include chapters in \u003ci\u003eThinking with Water\u003c\/i\u003e (Chen et al., eds., 2013) and \u003ci\u003eCultivating Canada: Reconciliation Through the Lens of Cultural Diversity\u003c\/i\u003e (Mathur et al., eds., 2011).\u003cb\u003eRita Wong\u003c\/b\u003e is a writer, teacher, and waterkeeper. She is the author of three books of poetry and the co-author of several collaborative works, most recently, \u003ci\u003ebeholden: a poem as long as the river\u003c\/i\u003e (2018), with the poet Fred Wah. With Dorothy Christian (Secwepemc and Syilx Nations), Wong edited \u003ci\u003edownstream: reimagining water\u003c\/i\u003e (WLU Press, 2017).
