He has edited two retrospective volumes of the poetry of Frank Stanford, including \u003ci\u003eWhat About This\u003c\/i\u003e, which was a National Book Critics Circle Award finalist and received the Balcones Poetry Prize. He edited the anthologies \u003ci\u003eThe Poet's Child\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eThis Art\u003c\/i\u003e, and translated poems for \u003ci\u003eReversible Monuments: Contemporary Mexican Poetry\u003c\/i\u003e, which he co-edited with Mónica de la Torre. He is also the poetry editor of \u003ci\u003eNarrative\u003c\/i\u003e and regularly speaks about the art of publishing at universities and colleges around the world. He is currently at work on a book about the poet W.S. Merwin.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePoet laureate of Arizona and a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets, \u003cb\u003eAlberto Ríos\u003c\/b\u003e is the author of eleven books of poetry. He is a National Book Award finalist, as well as a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Walt Whitman Award. His book \u003cem\u003eThe Theater of Night\u003c\/em\u003e received the PEN\/Beyond Margins Award. Published in the \u003cem\u003eNew Yorker, Paris Review, Ploughshares, \u003c\/em\u003e and other journals, Ríos has also written three short story collections and a memoir, \u003cem\u003eCapirotada, \u003c\/em\u003e about growing up on the Mexican border.
