He earned his bachelor's degree in neuroscience from the University of Rochester and his master's and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Syracuse University. He completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. DeRight currently works in private practice and sees a wide variety of cases including referrals from neurologists, psychiatrists, and primary care physicians.
