He is an associate editor of the journal \u003cem\u003eDeviant Behavior\u003c\/em\u003e and has authored or edited several books, including \u003ci\u003eAuthenticity in Culture, Self and Society\u003c\/i\u003e (2009) and \u003ci\u003eSubcultural Theory: Traditions and Concepts\u003c\/i\u003e (2011).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eKaylan C. Schwarz is a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education at McGill University, Canada.
