She teaches sociology at Athabasca University, Canada.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eSalvatore Engel-Di Mauro\u003c\/b\u003e is Professor of Geography at SUNY New Paltz, and Chief Editor of \u003ci\u003eCapitalism Nature Socialism\u003c\/i\u003e. His research areas include socialist histories, soil contamination processes, and urban food production.
